At SwitchedOn International Southampton FC Academy Partnership, student-athletes never have to choose between academic excellence and elite football training. Our program combines professional-level player development with a world-class academic pathway through Switched On Education, ensuring players are prepared for success both on and off the field.

Through this unique partnership, national and international players gain access to the Southampton Way of player development — a model proven to produce top-level professionals — while also pursuing US K-12 curriculum or internationally recognized qualifications that open doors to leading colleges and universities.

This integrated approach gives every student-athlete the opportunity to train like a professional, study with purpose, and prepare for the future.

Founded in 2011, Switched On Education is a leader in K-12 and international qualification delivery, with a  comprehensive, fully-accredited academic program that can challenge the most advanced students while providing academic support for students needing to improve their standing.

Students grow and improve performance as a product of intentional routine, small class sizes, and a faculty that creates high expectations, motivates and inspires.

Preparing for College

At switched On Education Southampton FCInternational Academy, student-athletes follow a program that blends professional-level football training with a college-preparatory curriculum through Switched On Education. This combination allows players to develop both on the pitch and in the classroom, creating strong and unique profiles that are highly valued by college coaches.

In partnership with Switched On Education, which delivers internationally recognized qualifications and a proven track record of academic success, student-athletes are prepared to confidently pursue their first-choice college or university, in the U.S. or abroad.

To ensure players are fully supported, the Academy provides:

Coaching and Technical Staff Support for ID Camps, Showcases, and recruitment events
Workshops and Seminars guiding families through the college recruitment process
Personalized College Planning, with individual roadmaps, academic advising, and career counseling to support college acceptance
Recruitment Portfolio Development, including highlight videos, recommendation letters, resumes, and curated university shortlists, created with the support of both coaching and academic staff
